Phil and I went to see the high risk OB in Indianapolis yesterday. After the ultrasound he came in to tell us that everything looked fine. He thinks my fluid looks less, but not low enough to be concerned. He also said my placenta is large and healthy and probably making it difficult to see all of the amniotic fluid. Lillian's kidneys are functioning properly, and she should be producing more fluid over the next couple of weeks.
WHEW!
My regular OB called last night and said he still wants us to cancel our cruise. The bleeding that I had on Saturday was enough for him to still be concerned, and he would prefer that I take it easy and continue to be monitored. I'll have another ultrasound at his office in two weeks to make sure the fluid is increasing. He's also going to call the Dr. at my local hospital that viewed the two ultrasounds over the weekend since he is the one that was very concerned with the low levels of fluid.
I'm so grateful to have a doctor that cares so much about my well being, and the safety of our baby. We are also grateful for so many prayers from friends and family. Hearing the good news was like finding out we're pregnant all over again! There's just no way to describe how relieved and happy we were to know that Lillian is alive and well and so far has no complications.
I'm still a little concerned about the possibility of a small leak (probably just being paranoid) so I'm taking the rest of this week off work, and possibly next week.
THANK YOU to everyone that kept us in their thoughts and prayers!

My Weekend in Labor and Delivery
I had light spotting Saturday morning around 6am so I called the doctor and he sent me to the hospital. The nurse that saw us first searched for the heartbeat, and after trying and trying to get the heart beat with the stupid f'n machine she was using (which apparently had poor batteries) she finally found a strong heartbeat with a second machine.
My doctor came in and did an internal exam to see if he could find the source of the bleeding. My cervix was still closed so he sent me for an ultrasound. We spent an hour looking at our baby and measuring all her organs and everything else they do in the ultrasound.
The results came back and showed that I had low ambiotic fluid. (This has nothing to do with the bleeding) They kept me in the hospital all day and night Saturday to monitor my fluids. Sunday morning we had another ultrasound and nothing has changed. The doctor said that my ambiotic fluid is in the 2nd percentile (?) whatever that means. Their main concern now is that my blood isn't pumping through the ambilical cord at a rate that is getting enough fluid to the baby.
They sent me home at 4pm after doing a bunch of bloodwork and put me on bedrest. I'm supposed to see a high risk OB sometime this week and they will do another ultrasound to check the bloodflow to the baby.
PLEASE keep us in your prayers. There isn't much I can do but lay here and hope it fixes itself.

It's a girl :) (Lillian Rose)
We are so excited about having a girl. It was a huge surprise though, I really thought there was a little boy kicking me in there! DH and I will probably get a 4D ultrasound around 30 weeks so we can get a better look at her. The day of the ultrasound our little girl was pretty camera shy and turned her back to the ultrasound tech :( I would love to see her little face.

18 weeks - sweet potato
This has been by far the best week of pregnancy. I feel good, I still don't look "big", I'm comfortable, the baby is more active, I'm not sick (even though my bagel projected out of my mouth and all over the toilet this morning), my energy level is back up, and things are just falling into place.
Hopefully this feeling continues into the next few weeks. I'm starting to get nervous about our ultrasound on Wednesday, even though everything feels like it's going well. The baby has been so active in the last 24 hours. I like to just sit still and feel it tickle the inside of my belly. I LOVE knowing that it's alive in there and that it's active and moves around. I definitely talk to the baby sometimes. Its ears are developed now, so why not?!
This is posted a little late, but here is the 17 week photo:
